INTRODUCTION:  Powell Wrestling Club is USA sanctioned wrestling club dedicated to providing youth with the opportunity to develop wrestling skills, promote sportsmanship, individual character, strength and stamina.

WRESTLING STYLES:  There are three primary styles in amateur wrestling: folkstyle, freestyle and Greco-Roman.  All three are taught at the Powell Wrestling Club.  Folkstyle is the primary American style of wrestling coached in the Powell Wrestling Club, taught February through March.  It is also the style wrestled at the Middle School, High School and the College level.  Freestyle and Greco-Roman are the internationally recognized styles of wrestling.  These two styles are coached in the Powell Wrestling Club in April and May. 

AGE: Powell Wrestling Club is open to kids from 5-16 years of age.
